The family of Cynthia E. "Cindy" Niles sadly shares the passing of their cherished wife, mother, and sister. Cindy died on September 10, 2017 after a short hospitalization. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Terry; her brother, Jack; and her three children: Dennis, Penny, and Jay. Cindy was best known for her love of angel figurines, her unusually large Newfoundland dogs, and an endless supply of hard candy treats slipped surreptitiously into the small hands of the children in her church ward. Years of substitute teaching in the Nampa School District garnered her a fan club of young people who recalled Cindy's unique blend of humor and discipline as the highlight of their student years. She loved Boise State football (especially when they won), tea with a splash of milk, and sharing her infectious laughter and peaceful wisdom with everyone around her. Friends are invited to celebrate Cindy's life and commemorate her passing at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 14 at the LDS Church located at 3904 E.
