Della Elizabeth Giesey, 78, of Nampa died Friday, April 20, 2018 at home. Her "Celebration of Life" will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa. Della was born in Sacramento, California on April 6, 1940, the daughter of Guy Myron Dunning and Catherine Mason (Rustin) Dunning. She worked at Winco store in Nampa; Caldwell Sheriff's Dept.; McClellan AFB and Rally's in California. She was raised to have a strong work ethic...she knew the meaning of hard work. She loved shopping for a bargain, decorating, sewing, and enjoyed playing cards with her pinochle group. Della is survived by her three daughters: Jacquelyn Dalpez of Meridian, Tamalyn (Darrell) Williams of Smith's Station, AL and Sandra (Neil) Jensen of NV; seven siblings: Charles Dunning, Nancy Flewellen and Nita (Gary) Samp all of AZ, Mervilyn (James) Fox and Gina Howe both of CA, Rosalie Long of UT and Kathryn Keller of ID; and numerous friends, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
