Edra Iris Volguardsen Obituary (1926

Edra Iris Volquardsen, 92, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away on February 1, 2019, in a local care center. Edra was born May 17, 1926, in Bentonville, Arkansas to Benjamin Butler Fuller and Gladys Eleanor Curt Fuller. She was born into a family where she had 10 siblings. This family later moved to Idaho. When Edra was 16 years old, she met a charming young 18 year old Russell Volquardsen who swept her off her feet and married her shortly thereafter. They were married for 60 years. Over the years they made their home in various area of the Treasure Valley. Together they would purchase houses, remodel and refurbish them and then resale them. Edra was known to "love to be on the go" anytime, anywhere. She and her sister were always out and about so much that they were nicknamed "the Go-Go Girls." The Oregon Coast was one of her favorite destinations. Edra is survived by two children: Sharon and Roger; 5 grandchildren that have given her several great and great-great grandchildren and two siblings. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell, her parents and 8 siblings.
