Gilberto "Gilbert" Heredia, 39, of Homedale passed away January 1, 2016 at a Boise Hospital. Gilbert was born July 11, 1977 in McAllen, Texas to Jamie and Teodora (Castro) Heredia. He moved to Idaho with his family and attended Valley View High School. He enjoyed taking trips to the Oregon coast with his daughters Shantell Ferrell and Alanah Heredia. Gilbert was a tattoo artist and competed in Car Stereo competitions. Gilbert is survived by his daughters; parents; brothers Jamie Jr. Heredia and Rafael Heredia; sisters Christine Heredia and Cindy Thornhill; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
