Ilean Leishman Balls Obituary (1922 - 2018)

Ilean Leishman Balls, 95, of Kuna Passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones, on April 10, 2018. Ilean was born October 5, 1922 to Andrew Adamson Leishman and Deseret Kilfoyle Smith in Wellsville, Utah. In 1940, she married Quenton Angiel Balls in the Logan Utah LDS Temple. She worked at Simplot and in the Kuna Schools lunch program. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint and served as a Boy Scout leader and Primary Teacher. She also served as an Ordinance worker in the LDS Temple and as a Visiting Teacher. Ilean leaves behind four children: Keith (Verna) Balls, Roenna Snodgrass, Dee (Connie) Balls and Tammy (Curtis) Exley: 15 Grandchildren, 21 Great-grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-grandchildren. Ilean was preceded in death by her husband; two children Michael Lee Balls and Sidny Ivan Balls; three grandchildren: Sheree Lyn Snodgrass, Jeromy Balls and Quenton Benjamin Balls. The family would like to express gratitude to our St. Luke's Hospice team, Rhea, Renee, Cassie and Crystal and to those who selflessly sent flowers, helped with food and shared their loving concern.
