James "Jim" Bishop Moore Obituary (1935 - 2014)

James Bishop Moore, "Jim" 79, of Nampa, passed away Monday, November 10, 2014 at a local hospital. He was born in Caldwell, Idaho on February 7, 1935 to Lee and Beatrice Tipton Moore. Jim grew up in Owyhee County and was a buckaroo all his life. In his early years he followed the rodeo circuit. Later in his life he raised quarter horses, both for show and for racing. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Rosa, his parents and one brother Jerry. He is survived by three daughters: Lindee (Doug) Elmore of Nampa, Karlene Petersen of St. George, UT, Gloria Palenske of Palmer, AK; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; one brother Joseph (Joe) Moore and his wife Janet and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Jim is now reunited with his sweetheart Rosa and that is a wonderful thing for him. But the two of them leave many sad hearts behind. We are grateful for the loving influence they have had on our lives. They will surely be missed by all who knew them. Jim will be buried next to Rosa in Carey Cemetery on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Service: Wednesday, November 12, 2014 1:00 p.m. Carey Cemetery Carey, Idaho
