Joseph Leroy Rivera Obituary (1942

Joseph L. Rivera was 75 years old residing in Nampa, Idaho. On March 1, 2018 Joseph went to be with his wife, Rose Rivera. Joe will be forever remembered by his children: Ann (married to Edward Razo), his late son Joseph, Brenda (married to Frank Paz), Troy (married to Elizabeth Rivera). Joe will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; his siblings: John Rivera (married to Laurel Rivera), Vivian Martinez (married to Sam Martinez), Raymond Rivera, Max Rivera (married to Florence Rivera), Elenore Rivera; Mr. and Mrs. Cina; and his late siblings Paul Rivera (married to Anna Rivera), Roger Rivera, Robert Rivera, Josephine Rodriguez (married to Danny Rodriguez), Leena Havilad (married to Ed Havilad), and Lillian Durand (married to Rudy Durand). Joe loved spending time with his family and playing guitar for everybody. He enjoyed camping and fishing as well as riding four wheelers with his sons. When he was a teenager he was in a band as a guitarist. He always had fun antique shopping with his wife and daughters. Joe loved his Mexican food, his green chile and tortillas. His passion was anything related to landscaping and making every house he and Rose lived in look beautiful. Overall, Joe was always a big family man. Family has been and always will be the most important thing to him. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa.
