Kenneth Archer passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, January 30th. He was 83 years young. Kenneth was born in Alamosa, Colorado. He moved with his family to a farm in Canyon County where he lived until the age of 18. At that time, he got a job with the Railroad in California. Where he raised his family. He worked for the Railroad for 40 years in California, Nevada and Utah. When he retired he moved back to Canyon County where he met and married Lily, his wife of 25 years. Kenneth loved to travel, his favorites were Jamaica, Australia, Mexico, Fiji as well as all 50 states. He loved to try new things. He spent many hours in his shop inventing and building things. He always had a project going, right up to the last days of his life. He is survived by his wife Lily Archer, His sisters Evelyn Tarver and Sylvia Martinez and brother Kearney Archer. His daughter Sherry Archer and son Mike Archer. Step daughter's Linda Ormsby, Laurie Dana, Elicia Kander, step sons Paul Ormsby and Wade Ormsby. Grand children: Mauricio Steffen, Sam Steffen, James Steffen, Meagan Steffen, Erin Hackney, Amanda Muller, Stephanie Wolcik, Danielle Greenough, Paige Ormsby, Chelsea Russo, Cody Hendrickson, Ashley Stein, Katie Adams, and Christina Davis, as well as over a dozen great grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his first wife Dorothy and 2 of their children, brothers Clyde Archer Jr. and Delbert Archer.
