Melba Ellen Langford Obituary (1927

Melba Ellen Brewer Langford, returned home to her Heavenly Father on January 18, 2015 in Meridian, ID. She was born on August 23, 1927, the 5th child of Clyde and Ellen N. Brewer of Ogden, UT. She married James H. Langford on August 3, 1950 in the Logan LDS Temple. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life and served faithfully with her numerous church callings. Melba was the loving mother of two children, James Harvey Langford and Patricia Ellen Langford. She loved hosting gatherings and was compassionate towards family, friends and all animals. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, reading and spending time with her family. She received a business degree prior to her marriage and after her children were raised she worked for the U.S. Government. She has been reunited in death with her husband James H. Langford (2008) and her son James Harvey Langford (1976). She is survived by her daughter Patricia L Hartman (Scott) of Juneau, AK, grandchildren: Joshua Hartman (Melissa) of Meridian, ID, Dustin Hartman Reno, NV, Lara Hartman of Meridian, ID; three great- grandchildren and sister Margie Peterson (Don) of Colorado.
