Opal Mae Vieselmeyer, 92, of Star passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at a local hospital. She was born November 17, 1924 in Orion, Kansas to Joseph and Lulu Fry Suiter. She married Edgar H. Vieselmeyer June 9, 1947 in Roseburg, Oregon. Opal is survived by her daughters: Marcella (Jim) Stewart, Gilberta (Daniel) Hetrick, and Wanda (Joseph) Williams; her grandchildren: Jim Stewart, Joe Stewart, Jere Stewart, John Hetrick, Tony Hetrick, Dennis Williams and Michael Williams; and five great-grandchildren; her siblings: Merle Nordby, Glen Suiter, Bill Suiter and Chester Suiter; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Vieselmeyer; her son Gilbert Vieselmeyer; a grandson Steven Hetrick; her parents Joseph and Lulu Suiter; brothers: Lewis Suiter, Joe Suiter, Jim Suiter and Sam Suiter; and her sister Polly Merle. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 17 at Boise Valley Church of the Brethren, 4721 Star Road in Meridian. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 16 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd, Nampa.
