V. Evelyn (Brabon) Bottemiller, 91, of Nampa passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 after a long illness. She was born on September 2, 1927 in Los Angeles, California to Louis G. and Irene Campbell Brabon. Evelyn worked as a book keeper for various businesses in California. Evelyn married Eldon Charles Bottemiller in March of 1960. She and her husband traveled with the Mobile Missionary Assistance Program from California to Rhode Island and many states in between. She donated much of her time and talents as a crafter to her church to make quilts and other handmade items. She was a member of Grace Bible Church, the Nampa Art Guild, a 42-year member of the Good Sam Club and a Charter member of the Nampa Recreation Center. She is survived by her husband Eldon; her sons: David (Lesley), Larry (Fiance Laurie) and Ken; grandchildren: Kayla (Eric) Salazar, Cara, Cody, Dane and Dylan; step-grandchildren: Erin Paterson, Amanda Otey and Christopher Veesart; and five great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 29, a Grace Bible Church, 1415 Lone Star Road in Nampa with inurnment at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Love Inc. 16446 N. Franklin Blvd, Nampa, ID 83687. ***We would like to give a special THANK YOU to Horizon Hospice for the great care they gave to Evelyn during the last couple of weeks of her life. You are all appreciated for the great work that you do.
